Going deep into our relationship with God — the One who is meant to be our only Love — requires unraveling our lives from the world and our own remedies for self-preservation. It takes a willingness to dive deeper into our own hearts, histories, and hurts. Going deeper on our journey of faith takes some extra time and tender care.

Both Stacy and Carol have unique life experiences to help you find your way out of darkness, confusion, and heartache, and into the Light of His love and grace.

Spiritual Direction

Stacy is available to offer Spiritual Direction sessions throughout the week. Spiritual direction describes the ancient process of accompanying people in their spiritual journey toward freedom and peace. It is a ministry that supports the holy work of spiritual formation, and helps people connect with their sacred stories in their everyday living. (SDIworld.org, adapted)

I was introduced to the concept of spiritual direction during a retreat. Later, during a difficult season of ministry I sought out my own spiritual director. As I met with her God began to reveal and transform my inner life. After a few years a door opened for my own training to begin.

By definition of formal training, I’m new to this ministry, but it is a lifelong journey. Turns out I’ve been listening, joining, and guiding others on their spiritual journey most of my life. God has woven all of it together to bring me to this place: A spiritual director who is passionate about walking with others on their journey. It’s my heart’s desire to listen in a way that allows others to enter the wide-open spaces of God’s love and grow closer to him.

Post-Abortion Healing Ministry

Carol’s story includes an abortion. A great grief which God has transformed into a glory through the power of His healing grace and unfailing love.

Some stories Satan encourages us to keep in the dark. Secrecy, he says, is your friend. But God says you were once darkness but now you are children of the light (Ephesians 5:8) and the truth will set you free (John 8:31-32).

And do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness; instead, expose them.

People often tell me I’m brave for sharing my story to help others. But the truth is if I don’t share it, if I keep it in the dark, I’m promoting the lies of the enemy about life and love, and helping him keep me and others paralyzed by guilt and shame.

It’s very counterintuitive, but God’s way of healing is to bring darkness to light where the enemy no longer has a hold on your life. Even though my abortion was over forty years ago, it still impacts my life today. Now, instead of being ruled by fear and shame, I’m surrendered to my Savior and free to share my story with others so they can be set free too.

In The Works

Living Faith: A Discipleship Pathway

We are working on a discipleship pathway to help those who are in pursuit of the abundant life Jesus promises.

The journey starts with a six-week study on Loving God. Those willing to continue follow up with another six weeks on Loving Others. Both studies focus on what it means to put your faith into action. The goal of the studies is to connect Jesus’s disciples in a small closed safe sacred space to help them journey on the path of discipleship together.
